this cut features oliver ignatius (the chocolate jesus, now called dirty faces) aswell as myself, savva, and justin. others may have been involved, i can't remember.
both myself and justin are now 'official' members of computer magic. computer magic is the brainchild of our old homie danz, i wrote about her a bunch back. i play guitar, he plays bass. we've been practicin' a bunch and i've begun work on an 'excrement'type mixtape.
in excrement news my laptop got lucky, just gotta compile 'gatherings #4: when kurt shot himself he shot dave too.' and figure out a cover. it should be up in around week.
this is a track we cut for the tape last night, "what we know about the savv life -> surfaris jam":
your kids, grown up indian kinda came out of this other jam i wrote called your kids are going to grow up to be just like me. i recorded it this mornin', here it is:
got together with cam before the sonic youth show at prospect park and cut what we're referring to as the 'pre-sonic youth show jam'. fantasmas will also be recording a four track ep this week, think it's gonna be the same tracks the streamable demo we upped, re-recorded with vocals. anyways, look out for it and when you see it, get on it.
"A mind control experiment shot and edited at the cable public access studios of Viacom in Seattle (after TCI pulled the rug out from under us). It was supposed to be aired, but Viacom's tech guy screwed up the dub and it never did. So it was released on VHS."
